Carnegie Hall Debuts

Since 2019, 8 KS Vocal Studio students have had the honor of performing at Carnegie Hall in New York City! Students were nominated by Ms. States, sent in an audition recording and were selected from an incredibly competitive pool of applicants. 600 students are selected from 20,000 who annually apply around the world for this opportunity!

Countless students have prepared for college auditions and have been accepted with scholarships to numerous and illustrious music programs.

Clara Kral, a senior at Ashland High School earned admission into the prestigious music program at Capital University. Clara received a generous amount of talent and merit scholarship money from the University that will cover over 70% of her tuition!
Shining Star CLE
Several KS Vocal Studio students have participated in the semi-final and final round of Shining Star CLE, a voice competition that takes place at Playhouse Square in Cleveland.

Jacob Canedy was selected as a semi-finalist for the 2019 Shining Star Competition out of hundreds of high school applicants in Northern Ohio. He was selected as a finalist for the 2020 competition. Jacob has starred in several musical theatre productions around Northeast Ohio.
Professional Performances

Northeast Ohio has many professional theatre companies where children and teens are often hired. KS Vocal Studio has been fortunate to have many students hired at the following professional theaters:
