Flexible Scheduling

In terms of scheduling, KS Vocal Studio uses an online system specifically geared for music teachers where parents have the ability to go online and schedule lessons. Lessons are taught 4 weeknights out of the week from 3:00pm-9:00pm, all day Saturday and Sunday afternoons. You have the option to select the same day and time every week (for example every Monday evening from 5:00-5:30) OR you have the option to schedule the lessons at your convenience if your schedule changes frequently.

Every student has the opportunity to be in 2 recitals each year. The first recital takes place in March and the second recital takes place late August (usually right before school starts)

The recitals consist of the following:

  • Each student sings a memorized solo and is accompanied by a professional pianist. All recitals take place in the beautiful sanctuary of St. Paul's Episcopal Church

  • A professional photographer takes pictures during the performance that will be shared with the families via Facebook

  • A reception of pizza and cookies after each recital

  • Admission for family and friends is FREE! The more the merrier!

Musical Theatre Auditions

KS Vocal Studio specializes in audition and performance preparation for musical theatre. There are TONS of community and youth theaters around northeast Ohio. Students regularly receive audition alerts via email with detailed information on current shows. Preparation for auditions and performances can be included as part of vocal lessons.
